Create a horse or a pet
To create a new horse in your stable, go to "My stable" in the menu on top of the page. Then you click on "Go to my stable" in the same menu. On the left side below your stable name there is small horse icon. Click here to create the horse. Next to that icon there are also icons of a dog, cat and rabbit. Click here to create one of those animals.
Grow
To grow food for your new horse/s you click on "My stable" and then on the tractor in the right menu, just above your stable. By clicking on the tractor you can buy cultivation land and seed to use to grow food. You can also click on the tractor icon on the bottom of the page.
Take care of the horses
You need to take care of the horses, which means to give them food and groom them, when the hand on the bottom of the page turns pink. The horses will not disappear if you don't take care of them. But it is more fun if you take care of your horses. The goal is to achieve 100% in care of the horses.
Stable plans
Stable plan is what you see on the left side next to your stable presentation. You can change the appearence of your stable if you click on the wrench icon in the menu. Either you build your stable with bricks or you create your own stable plan in an external photo editing program and upload it. When you upload the picture, it will automatically be divided into bricks. Don't forget to give your stable plan a name and to save it!
If you want to buy a stable plan created by another member you click on "Buy & sell" in the menu, choose "Market" and "Stable plans". There you find many wonderful stable plans to choose between.
Design stable presentation
To change your stable presentation you click on "My stable" in the menu on top of the page. Then you click on "Go to my stable" in the same menu. At left you see your stable plan and at right your stable presentation. To edit the stable presentation you click on the wrench icon at left in the menu above the presentation. Here you can select background, cursor and standard text colour. In the box "Presentation text" you enter your presentation. If you are beginners we recommend you to use only text, while the advanced user can enter HTML-codes. When you have finished the editing you click on "Click here to save!" on the bottom of the page.
Gold membership
With gold membership you will get access to more functions on MyDreamStable.com. You can for example chat in the chat on the site, buy and sell horses, upload stable plans, sell animals in auctions, in an easier way take care of your horses and growings and so on. To buy gold membership you need to be 18 years old or have the permission of one of your parent. You find more information if you click on "GM/HP" and "Become gold member".
The expo
You can compete with your animals in the expo. The expo for horses, dogs, cats and rabbits where members vote for your animals is arranged every week. If you are lucky you are the one with the most votes and you win a rosette for your animal and gold membership and horse pennies. To compete with an animal it needs to have a photo, because it is the picture that is shown to the members voting in the expo. To get to the expo, click on "Compete" and then "The expo" where you select sort of animal. On top at right you see menu choices to compete with your animals and to vote.
Buy horse or pet from another member
If you click on "Buy & sell" in the menu on top you can choose between "Auctions" or "Market". "Auctions" work as an ordinary auction; you bid and hope no one makes a higher bid. The member who sells the animal through auction decides the minimum price and what day and time the auction ends. On the "Market" you find animals for sale which you can buy at once. You can choose between different price ranges and describe the animal you search for, for example if you search for a male/gelding/stallion or a female/mare and so on.
Buy a stable from another member
You can buy a stable from other members on the same places as where you buy animals, "Buy & sell" and then "Auctions" or "Market". On the market you need a buying code to be able to buy the stable. You get the buying code by sending an e-mail to the owner of the stable and ask for the code which includes 15 signs. You write this code in the field "Buying code" and in the field "Stable name" you write the name of the stable you are going to buy. Stables for sale are not shown on the market.
Show jumping
As gold member you can create an own show jumping competition if you click on "Compete" and "Show jumping". To create a competition you click on "Start your own jumping competition". Choose a name for the competition, how many horses are allowed to participate and how high the fee should be. Then you click on to build the track. There are several different bricks and fences to choose between. It costs no horse pennies to create a show jumping. The participants win horse pennies and the prize sum depends on how many participants there are. It is the fee that is split up in first, second and third prize.
Star status
Star status is a competition for gold members and it is about how well you take care of your horses and growings. It is estimated once a week and the winner gets 1000 horse pennies and a star in the stable. The better you take care of your horses, the higher star status you will get. The one with the highest score wins. You don't need to sign up for this competition, all gold members participate automatically.
The top list and how do you vote?
All members of MyDreamStable.com do automatically participate in the Top list competition. The member who gets the most votes will win a trophy and horse pennies. You should vote for the stable you like the most. You can give all stables 1 - 10 points, but you need to be gold member to vote for other stables. Do you see a nice stable you want to vote for? On the left, right next to the list with the animals in the stable, you see "Vote in the Top list". There you choose points and then you approve in the next step. Then you have voted for that stable.
